To those who have served our country — and their family members — we owe you not only our gratitude, but our investments and attention.

That’s why I have advocated — and included detailed policy proposals — to provide more affordable housing, improved healthcare (including investments in mental health support, a caregivers program, and crisis assistance), better public schools, increased small business support, and more sustainable economic recovery with lower taxes and decreased costs of living (through my Maryland Now Plan).

And while improved access to the VA is a federal issue, I want to work with you to determine what practical solutions can I pursue as Governor.
